Xiris Automation released an updated version of its HF Pre-Weld Inspection (HFPW) system for tube and pipe manufacturers. It introduces improved algorithms that allow manufacturers to monitor geometric and temperature characteristics of the HF welding process with greater accuracy and reliability in real time. The release also introduces support for the new Xiris Gen4 HMI, delivering increased processing power, improved connectivity and enhanced visualization tools. By combining precise thermal and geometric measurements, the system enables continuous monitoring of the welding process. Custom alarm and warning limits allow operators to receive real-time alerts and take immediate corrective action to prevent defects.
