Aida America announced that Wiegel completed factory acceptance of a two-point direct-drive servo press for its new Silao, Guan ajuato,
Mexico, facility to help support manufacturing expansion initiatives. The new 300-metric ton servo press will support Wiegel’s highspeed
and heavy-tonnage stamping applications. Equipped with an integrated tonnage monitor, die protection, custom bolster and slide machining, the press features an Allen-Bradley servo control system for ease of operation. This investment strengthens Wiegel’s ability to provide localized, high-quality stamping services in Mexico while maintaining the engineering support its customers expect. Wiegel serves many industries including automotive, appliance, aerospace and construction.
