Weldcote announced its Supremeview True-Color digital auto-darkening welding helmet with high-definition filter optics. The helmet features an optical clarity classification of 1/1/1/1 in its LCD viewing area of 4.04 in. by 4.04 in. It offers a fully automatic adaptive shade control that sets the right shade number automatically in a range between 7 to 13. An outer knob allows the user to change shades in increments of 0.1 without removing the helmet and the grind mode button easily changes the mode without removing the helmet. The black matte welding helmets have a 0.04 millisecond switching time from light to dark.
