German Machine Tools of America (GMTA) named Marius Braun vice president of sales. Braun will supervise the North American sales for various gear making and related lines of machine tools for automotive and other power transmissions, plus cleaning equipment and the newly acquired Steifelmayer line of lasers for motor lamination production. In addition, he will supervise the efforts on Arnold laser welding machines, parts washers, multi-spindle machining centers and the entire line of vertical lathe and special purpose machines.
