Mitsui Seiki USA will introduce the Vertex55X Neo high-performance vertical machining center with the Fanuc 31i-B5 Plus control for simultaneous precision 5-axis machining applications. The machine is designed for complex blade geometries, difficult-to-cut ceramics and mold and die operations, among other applications. It offers a 5-axis configuration with a tilting A-axis and full rotary C-axis for more complete machining operations in fewer setups. This includes the use of shorter tools for those difficult-to-reach cavities and undercuts. The Fanuc control provides AI contour control and high-speed processing.
