TRUMPF Inc. introduced its TruLaser Tube 7000 fiber to the North American market. This laser tube cutting machine offers 9 kW of power and processes greater wall thicknesses with remarkable speed using nitrogen as the cutting gas. Thanks to the increased outer circle of 11.4 in., square tube measuring 8 in. by 8 in., round tube with a 10.75-in. diameter, and 10-in.-by-6-in. rectangular tube with a side length of up 10 in. can all be processed. The machine also cuts small, 0.50-in.-dia. tube quickly and precisely. If the material is out of shape or of poor quality, the ScanLine function can compensate for deviations. The new ObserveLine Comfort function enables users to achieve maximum part quality.
