TRUMPF released its Material Flow Starter Kit – a new automated material transporting solution. Mobile robots are used to transport material up to one ton through the production process. The vehicles are controlled through a web application that works on any mobile device in the user’s network. With just a few clicks, users can request the transport of material, which allows them to stay at their
workstation and focus on value-added work. Minimal installation is required, even with complex route adjustments. Developed with intralogistics partner SafeLog, the system prepares companies for future integration with TRUMPF’s Oseon production planning software.
