TRUMPF Inc. named Ian Frank (right) head of applications engineers for TruLaser laser cutting machines at its North American headquarters in Farmington, Conn. Frank will supervise 2-D laser cutting applications engineers and oversee the team of Care engineers to help customers with after-sales applications. The company also announced that Travis Stempky (left) moved into new role as head of laser technology applications at the Laser Technology Center in Plymouth, Mich., and Santa Clara, Calif. Stempky will oversee all industrial laser material processing applications for OEM, systems and marking solutions, in support of the automotive, aerospace, electronics, medical and general industries in North America.
