SiLC Technologies designed the Eyeonic Edge, a 4-D area scanner for large stationary items, with sub-millimeter accuracy at distances up to 10 m with a 40-degree-by-40-degree field of view. It also offers real-time region of interest and zooming, operating from 0.25 m to 10 m with velocity measurement of moving targets. Targeted at industrial automation, manufacturing inspection, robotics and construction, it works reliably on dark or shiny surfaces in various lighting conditions. Eyeonic Edge provides high precision below 1 mm on low-reflectivity targets and features software-defined fields of view, fast measurement rates and eye-safe Class 1 laser operation.
