Two global manufacturers announced operation expansions to Hamilton, Ohio, creating 258 jobs and adding millions of dollars in payroll. Salvagnini America plans to add 28 jobs with $2.8 million in additional payroll while retaining 118 existing positions. “Our continued investment in Hamilton reflects Salvagnini’s confidence in Ohio’s skilled workforce,” said Andrea Scarpari, CEO, Salvagnini America. SencorpWhite, which specializes in automated storage solutions, will establish its U.S. headquarters in Hamilton, creating 230 jobs with an estimated $20 million in annual payroll. The company is relocating operations from Sweden to Ohio, citing the state’s manufacturing base and engineering workforce.
