Prima Power has made an approximate 8,200-sq.-ft. expansion to its Cologna Venet facility in Verona, Italy. The additional space has increased production capacity by 50 percent. The new service building, which houses training, additional offices, a modern cafeteria and changing rooms, is equipped with a 150-kW photovoltaic system, reducing the plant’s energy footprint. Stefano Gecchele, bending product unit manager, said the expansion “represents a significant investment in Prima Power’s future and a clear signal of our commitment to innovation, sustainability and local development.”
