With Optimate’s digital solution for sheet metal analysis and optimization, the user accesses the optimization platform with the app via the homepage. After successful registration, the two cloud products can be found: component analysis with potential detection and automatic component optimization, i.e., the actual redesign. First, the user uploads the sheet metal part to the cloud-based web app in STEP or SolidWorks format. Multiple 3-D CAD files can be uploaded and analyzed at the same time. Within seconds, the potential of each component is listed. A feasibility check runs in the background to ensure that each component can be manufactured reliably.
