Ocean Machinery developed the Gladiator Beam Laser as a compact structural steel beam processing machine that combines cutting, drilling, coping, beveling and marking functions in a single system occupying less than half the floor space of conventional drill-saw lines. Built
on a cantilever-style structure traveling on precision rails, the machine handles flange heights up to 19 in. and web widths up to 48 in. across three stock lengths of 40 ft., 50 ft. and 60 ft. Designed for beams, columns, channels and angles used in construction and industrial fabrication, the space-saving beam laser can cope flush with the inside of the flange for improved fit-up accuracy in welded structural assemblies.
