Nidec Minster is now producing parts at company headquarters in west central Ohio. As part of a $30 million expansion to its production
facility, two Pama Vertiram 3000 TT bridge mills have been installed. Capable of high-accuracy, five-sided machining of heavy components, the Pama Vertiram has been highly customized to include two 13-ft.-by-22-ft. tables with 10 spindle units including vertical, right angle and universal configurations. The table weight capacity is up to 100 tons. With the increased capacities and capabilities, the company is able to offer contract manufacturing services to customers requiring large precision components.
