Camfil Releases New Dust Collector Filter
Camfil APC’s new HemiPleat FR carbon dust collector filter combines flame retardant and conductive properties in a single filter. The carbon-impregnated filtration media is for dust-handling applications that require flame resistance as well as dissipation of static charges, including many metal dusts. The filter is available in two media types: the HemiPleat open-pleat high-efficiency or the HemiPleat eXtreme nano-fiber with a MERV 15 efficiency rating.
Miller’s New Classic Gloves
The new classic gloves, released by Miller Electric Mfg. Co., are traditional in design and feature craftsmanship, materials and features not found in basic welding gloves, such as pre-curved fingers for an ergonomic fit, multi-layered insulation and strategic padding. Multiple styles are available.
Grieves Releases Tempering Furnace
The Grieve Corp.’s No. 885 is a 1,400 F, electric, inert atmosphere tempering furnace used for heat-treating weldments at a customer’s facility. Measuring 24 in. wide by 36 in. deep by 24 in. high, the unit uses 42-kW nickel-chrome wire coils, supported by a stainless steel frame, to heat the workspace. The heat-resistant alloy recirculating blower provides vertical downward airflow to the workload. The electrically operated, vertical-lift door has an automatic switch to signal heat shut-off when the door is opened.
ESAB Introduces WeldCloud
WeldCloud, ESAB Welding & Cutting Products’ new online data management platform, works with Aristo Mig semi-automatic, Aristo Mig 5000iR robotic and LAF/TAF subarc welding systems. WeldCloud integrates with other customer systems, such as ERP, MDM, MRP and QA. It can facilitate traceability from single welds to the complete product utilizing a comprehensive database at the core of the system that contains key information of every weld seam. It can also develop weld schedules on a single machine, move them into the cloud and then push them out to other welding systems.
Pferd Offers Tube Grinding
Pferd Inc. released the Polistar-Tube line, a multi-stage tubing system to highlight the effectiveness of Polistar flexible abrasive stars. Designed for work on hard-to-reach inner surfaces of bores and pipes, the new line is manufactured using stainless steel rivets to prevent corrosion on stainless steel pipes. The Polistar-Tube multi-stage internal fine-grinding system, used with the appropriate flexible shaft and motor drive, allows the Polistar concept to be effective on difficult-to-access inner surfaces of pipes, pipe bends and deep bores.
ABB introduces track motion platform
ABB offers the IRBT 2005, a flexible, compact and modular medium-track motion platform for robots and transfer applications. It’s designed to accommodate rapid product changes in applications that require an extended working range and high degrees of speed and accuracy, including arc welding, material handling, machine tending, and sealing and dispensing. The product is available with up to two carriages as a robot track, with additional carriage plates available to carry any necessary process equipment, and up to three carriages as a transfer track.
SecturaSoft releases new software
SecturaSoft LLC released SecturaFAB. Developed for the metal fabrication industry, it streamlines the sales, production and invoicing processes through a platform that integrates with existing CRM, CAD/CAM and financial systems. The software’s intuitive quoting module guides sales staff to create consistent estimates or quotes that can then be converted into orders or work orders for financial and production team members to track. It is scalable to grow with changing customer requirements and is web-based application accessible from anywhere.
