TRUMPF Inc. launched the TruTool PS 100 part separator tool for removing small parts from the skeletons of processed sheets. The pneumatically powered tool separates parts with nano-joint and micro-joint connections in material thicknesses of up to 0.47 in. The tool’s design prevents operator fatigue. The handle dampens vibrations by 20 percent and allows the tool to be guided in different positions. It is available with two types of air connections: one with a diameter of 0.2 in. and another with a connecting thread of 0.25 in. This allows users to easily adjust the force needed to remove parts from the nest.
