Lincoln Electric’s new Precision Power Laser welding solution offers a combination of MIG welding tolerance with hybrid laser speeds. The solution is good for welding thin material. It produces a weld deposit at high travel speeds with independent control of power inputs of the weld. Whether welding or cladding, this process can be implemented to improve production rates and increase quality using Laser-Pak PPL robotic systems. Features include “light tight” to the laser wavelength to prevent exposure outside of the cell, interlocked operator access door, pneumatic sliding doors with interlocks, interior safety scanners and laser-safe viewing windows.
