Mazak Optonics released the OptiPlex HP, the latest in its OptiPlex 2-D laser cutting line. Available in 20 kW and 30 kW and in 4220 and 3015 sizes, the machine is optimized for cutting thick plates and includes accessibility features like large doors and a rotating CNC display. With its GrandCut process, the nozzle technology expands cutting capacity beyond 50 mm and improves cut quality. The system is powered by SmoothLx control, which means the laser integrates advanced functions such as an automatic nozzle changer and nozzle centering camera, which reduces setup time and provides more reliable performance.
