LVD announced Baron Robert Dewulf, one of the founding fathers of the company, recently passed away. As the “D” in LVD, Dewulf made a significant contribution to the success of the company that he helped set up in 1954 alongside Jacques Lefebvre and Marc Vanneste. The three managers complemented each other well, with Dewulf acting as the bridge builder to both government and industry. As a result of his efforts, LVD built a reputation as a respected manufacturer and good employer in the region and grew into an international company.
