Lincoln Electric celebrates grand opening

The Lincoln Electric Co. celebrated its welding school’s 100th anniversary with the grand opening of its new Welding and Technology Center in Cleveland. The 130,000-sq.-ft. facility represents a $30 million investment in training for a new generation of welding leaders. The facility features 166 welding and cutting booths, a virtual reality training lab with 10 virtual reality welding simulators, as well as extensive seminar and welding school classroom space, and a 100-seat auditorium. The center will become an American Welding Society accredited testing facility later this year.
