MC Machinery Systems Inc.’s new ASTES4 Advanced modular sorting system can help with worker shortages and bottlenecks resulting from higher volume fiber lasers. The high-speed sorting system can be integrated with the SmartFlex Rapid automated sheet loader and a Mitsubishi fiber or CO2 laser. Features include an integrated tool changer head with six programmable tools and four sorting heads with a capacity of 220 lbs. per head. Mitsubishi drive components allow seamless communication between the control, servos and drive system. Multiple customizable configurations and tighter proximity between picking heads are additional benefits.
