Laser Photonics will donate a Marlin professional portable finishing laser 1010 to the University of Alabama’s Lee J. Styslinger Jr. College of Engineering. The dualaxis, air-cooled pulse laser system features a small form factor and mobility for immediate MRO tasks and polishing, cleaning, top-layer coating removal and other surface preparation needs. “This donation reflects Laser Photonics’ commitmentto advancing hands-on laser education and supporting the next generation
of innovators,” said CEO Wayne Tupuola. The system will be integrated into engineering laboratories for student training and research in materials processing,
precision machining and industrial automation.
