Laguna Tools releases horizontal bandsaw for heavy metal cutting Laguna Tools debuted its B:7X, a horizontal bandsaw for production shops handling larger stock and longer runs. It features a 2-hp motor with variable blade speed from 98 ft. to 262 ft. per min. and cuts round bar up to 6.69 in. dia. at 90 degrees. The saw runs on standard 120V power without special wiring and has an integrated recirculating cutting fluid system that cools blades and improves cut quality across steel, iron, stainless steel, copper alloys and aluminum. The heavy-duty swivel-jaw vise and adjustable blade guide enhance stability and precision. The B:7X ships with a powder-coated steel floor stand that raises the working height to 58.26 in.
