K-TIG appointed California-based arc welding system specialist MITUSA Inc. as a Tier 1 distributor to supply its integrated products across the United States and into Mexico. Adrian Smith, K-TIG managing director, said it is an “exciting growth opportunity” that could enable increased sales in the region. “MITUSA is a well-regarded welding automation company specializing in automated seamers, and offers technical and logistical expertise for customers in North America,” he said. MITUSA’s management team is led by founder Leo Valerio, who has more than 30 years of practical and strategic welding experience.
