Jergens Inc. launched a line of nylon and polyester lifting slings in endless and eye-and-eye styles, available in a range of plies, widths and lengths to complement its existing lifting product portfolio. Made in accordance with ASME B30.9, the slings are tested to a 5:1 factor of safety and rated for temperatures from -40 to 194 degrees F. Endless slings form a continuous loop and are suited for choker, vertical and basket hitch configurations. Eye-and-eye styles also perform well in these applications with twist eye versions further enhancing grip and performance in choker applications.
