In recognition for his contributions to the Independent Welding Distributors Cooperative (IWDC), the industrial gas and welding industry and surrounding greater Baltimore, Md., community, Jim Earlbeck, Earlbeck Gases & Technologies, was presented the Bob Jackson Memorial Award. The award is considered the preeminent award of the IWDC. The honor is bestowed annually upon a member who has “gone above and beyond” in their support of the organization. Criteria for the award includes a strong volunteer spirit, being supportive of independents, being a respected leader, and engaged in the industry and community.
