The Hobart Institute of Welding Technology (HIWT) announced that Lois Bertke retired from the board of directors back in October 2022. Bertke was elected to the board in 2018 after serving on the school’s program advisory committee. “Lois has been involved with HIWT for over 18 years as a member of our program advisory committee since 2004 and then as a member of the board of directors since 2018,” said Scott A Mazzulla, HIWT president and CEO. “I want to thank Lois for her tremendous contributions to the institute. Lois’ expertise in human resources and her professionalism will certainly be missed.”
