Fronius extended its Artis TIG welding series with the Artis 300 DC XT, which supports up to 300 amps for DC welding applications. Available in water-cooled and gas-cooled versions, it is suited for stainless steel work in pipe maintenance, handrail installation, machine repair and hot water tank production. The welder features TIG pulse welding up to 990 Hz, TAC tacking function, spot and stitch welding, trigger mode, setting options for the gas pre-flow and post-flow, and touch high-frequency ignition for difficult accessibility. The extended XT version enables single-phase 230V use up to 300 amps and operates on an input voltage range of 200V to 600V on 3-phase for
worldwide compatibility.
