ESAB Welding & Cutting Products’ Robust Feed U82 wire feeder accepts 8-in.- and 12-in.-dia. wire spools and works with Aristo 500ix and Aristo Mig 4004i Pulse power sources for MIG, pulsed MIG, flux-cored and TIG welding, as well as carbon arc gouging. The PreciDrive wire drive system delivers better arc starts and stops without backlash or play in the gears and features a four-wheel drive system. Large-diameter drive rolls offer more gripping area and provide more pushing force without deforming soft-cored and aluminum wires. The feeder handles solid wire up to 5/64 in. and cored wire up to 3/32 in. and feeds at speeds of 32 to 984 ipm.
