Emag Llc announced the grand opening of its new Laser Welding Laboratory this past June at its Farmington Hills, Mich., location. The lab offers customers process development and prototyping for laser welding of powertrain components, state-of-the-art equipment, skilled experienced lab personnel and individual consulting for all laser welding needs. The addition of the laboratory allows those experienced with laser welding technology to further develop their production process and also introduces the technology to those who have never used it, but could benefit.
