Coe Press Equipment recently shipped and installed a 48-in. coil processing line to the Highland, Ill. facility of Eaton Corp., a manufacturer of quality support systems and enclosures for the mechanical, electrical and telecommunications industries. The line consists of a 48-in. Series 4 servo roll feed, 3.5-in.-by-48-in. power straightener, 15,000#-by48-in.-capacity coil reel with hydraulic traveling coil car, and 48-in.-by-12-ft. dual threading table. It also came with complete safety guarding. The press feed system is designed to handle MCRS at 45,000 psi up to 0.100 in. thick in coil widths up to 34 in. or 0.050 in. when coil is 48 in. wide.
