Andritz Schuler added the HFA plus+ fineblanking presses to its product range. The energy-efficient systems with press forces between 3,200 kN and 15,500 kN offer an output of up to 85 strokes per min. A number of developments have been added to the new edition. A servo controlled drive for the hydraulic pumps ensures that energy efficiency improves by a double-digit percentage while at the same time in creasing the number of strokes. Servo motors are also used for the automation components for fast and safe material transport. And the control system with integrated process monitoring provides all the necessary interfaces for further Industry 4.0 functionalities.
